About PetsInWorld

Honest, practical guidance for a calmer life with your pets

PetsInWorld is an independent, editorial pet publication. We write for people who share their homes with cats, dogs, birds and other animals, and simply want clear, trustworthy answers — without the noise, the ads dressed up as advice, or the guesswork.

4 Animal categories we cover in depth
100+ Practical guides and articles published
2026 The year PetsInWorld began

PetsInWorld started from a simple frustration: searching for pet advice online too often meant wading through recycled listicles, thin content built for search engines rather than for pet owners, and articles that raised more questions than they answered.

We wanted something different — a place where a first-time cat owner, a family bringing home their first puppy, or someone hand-raising a rescue budgie could find calm, well-organized, genuinely useful information. So we built it.

Today, PetsInWorld covers cats, dogs, birds and other household pets across everyday care, health basics, training, and the small decisions that make up life with an animal — written to be read by a person, not skimmed by a search algorithm.

What guides our work

Every guide we publish is held to the same few principles, regardless of which animal it's about.

Practical first

We favor clear, usable advice over theory — the kind of guidance you can actually act on today.

Genuinely trustworthy

We research carefully, credit our sources, and update guides when the guidance around pet care evolves.

Written for people

No jargon for its own sake. We write the way we'd explain something to a friend who just adopted a pet.

Organized, not overwhelming

Every guide is structured so you can find the one answer you need without reading the whole thing.

Independent voice

Our recommendations reflect what we believe is genuinely helpful, not what a sponsor wants said.

Always improving

Pet care knowledge changes. We revisit and refresh our guides rather than letting them go stale.

Every article on PetsInWorld goes through the same editorial process: we research the topic thoroughly, draft the guide with a specific reader in mind, and review it for clarity and accuracy before it's published.

We're not veterinarians, and we're clear about that — where a topic touches on health or medical decisions, we say so plainly and encourage you to speak with a licensed vet. Our aim is to help you understand your pet and ask better questions, not to replace professional care.
